Menswear F/W 2012

I've been longing for Menswear F/W 2012 ever since because I've always been a fan of F/W winter clothing. The highlights of this year's Menswear F/W includes creative color blocking (I really love the ones Kenzo did), bold patterns and dapper-looking suits which perfectly suits the F/W weather.

These are my 3 favorite picks from Menswear F/W 2012 collection.

Kenzo : I'm a fan of the color blocking (orange+ grey? J'adore!). But I personally don't really like the second picture where they combined blue polka-dots with orange. I'm sorry but a no from me for that.

Acne: Yes, yes, yes! Those three words perfectly describes how I felt about this collection. The bold colors, the dark-colored chinos, flawlessly fitted with leather brogues. But one thing, I don't enjoy much of the hand-bag. I thought that it exposes the feminine side a little too much.

Burberry: I really love the trench coats, the dapper looks, and the Old British-esque feel from the hat. And btw, I'll die to have the wolf shirt! Like, obviously. The leather shoes are gonna be a huge hit this season.

Well, I think that's it for now. Adieu

Hypochondria.

This post consists of random pictures I took today. It's basically pointless. I suffered a severe anxiety and personal over-thinking disease and I don't know what to do. Adieu.

Word of The Day

"Never lose hope and what you believe for. Trust no one. Follow none. Be yourself no matter what. It's better to be incredibly ridiculous, having unbelievable faiths, and inevitably unreachable dreams rather than being the same person as everyone else."

What doesn't kill you makes you stronger.

Yeah so this is the second week of school after the New Year break. My English teacher told me to read a book in the holidays but I'm actually not done with it yet so I need to continue reading it again these times.
Btw, i'm such a book nerd. Knowing that i'm not done with my English class book, I borrowed three other books from the library : Spanking Shakespeare (it's a sexually provocative yet hilarious lewd novel, recommended!), Speak by Laurie Halse Anderson (it's a great epistolary novel so if you're into autobiographies like The Perks of Being A Wallflower by Stephen Chbosky, this one's similar.), and The No.1 Ladies Detective Agency by Alexander McCall Smith (it's a story about this lady in Botswana aiming to grow a detective agency, an amazing culture novel, the movie has great costumes though)

Top to bottom :

"A Raisin' In The Sun" by Lorraine Hansberry - school asks me done with this by Tuesday. *sighs*
''The No 1 Ladies Detective Agency'' by Alexander McCall Smith - check out the HBO Series here. So loving the outfits!
"Spanking Shakespeare" by Jake Wizner - expecting seriously funny humor? check this out!
"Speak" by Laurie Halse Anderson - if you're fed up with your life, put yourself in this book's character.

I'm wearing : Unbranded "Chaos" oversized tee, Mum's vintage military styled shirt

Brogues and Bicycles

Hi! I'm so exhausted and this may sound a little exasperated but I'm extremely nauseous and i'm about to faint. But .... for you non existent lookers of my blog and die-hard fans,  I'm willing to post a look.

So, lately i've been inspired by creative-minded color blocking style mixed with a thrift-storeesque vintage feel. You might get shock if I state what i'm actually wearing here.

I'm wearing :

Unbranded color block shirt bought at Tebet, Gap Fisherman hat, Fluorescent glow-in-the-dark vest as outerwear (you may know it as the ones worn by security guards and police officers!), Unbranded socks, Daddy's brogue.

I guess that's it. I'm sincerely hoping anyone who read this a joyful day.

Adieu,

Heartless

A capricious anomaly was never a lie
As seagulls rose towards the turquoise morning sky
Like a cherry blossom, ripe and nice
Imagination of the technicolor mystery is passing by

Like an imagination dreamed in despair
Beliefs lost and crushed under the wind of hopelessness and vain
You're a heartless lady, but I have no choice to dare
The cold breeze of your glistening heart is the main source of my deep pain

As the smell of vicious betrayal and vigorous lies visible to any sight
The symphonies of gruesome treachery you always portray
Like the clock ticking as time passes through the night
It never fails as everything comes today

Globetrotter

“To belong nowhere is a blessing and a curse, like any kind of freedom.”

I've always been a true believer that dreaming is never impossible. I always dreamed that someday i'll be travelling around the world. It's always been such joy knowing that fantasy and dreams are sometimes our only companion during hard times.

I'm wearing:

Roebnoerm varsity jacket, Parachute Michael Jackson Edition print-tee, Unbranded black sheer pants, Kappa sneakers, mum's plaid scarf.

Tribal Manner

It's after school and i'm super exhausted. Did a shot today:) My camera is under repair so I did this with my extremely crappy webcam. I edited it somehow with various effects so that it looks better.

I'm wearing :
Mum's vintage tribal shirt, Urban pipeline creme shorts, Exsport sling bag, Reebok polar cap

A daybreak

A grotesque night has passed
Full blooms and scent of fresh magnolia fill the air
As the night sky grows untamed
As butterflies moved upon its lair

The green lush grasses was stepped after daybreak
While ladies sipped chamomile in peace
As farmers dance in the wind and pack
Laughter was never in dismiss

An expression of lies, betrayal and love collide
As children skipped throughout the lawn
A bright dream rose upon reverie
Hope is always on its own

You don't need money to be happy, you need art!

In this post, I will depict several artworks that I made. It may seem a little trashy and a little amateur-esque at times but mind you, art is not a matter of mastery, it is a matter of passion and love. No matter how crap your artwork may look like, but if it shows your true feelings and created by heart, it's no more what your brain says as crap, it's your masterpiece at its best.

This is my first ever "real" painting, which is titled as "Solitude", it shows a women who bears two different scenes, which are green lush trees and black cobbled buildings under a gloomy sky in the other.

This one is actually the bulletin board I have in my room, it shows my artworks. There's my name tag I made and featured on a post previously, my photographs, and a graphic art I hand-drawn.

Below is my hand-drawn graphic art. The theme of drawing that I made here is about capturing moments and photography. The media is hand markers (general colored- snowman markers) and a creative mind. That's all you need, folks!

So that's some of the artwork I made. I hope it looks great and I can continue to create new pieces of art and keep posting on here.

l'époque de ma vie

I've always been insecure about myself and always thought negatively about how I appear, about how people think about me, and other irrelevant stuffs.

But between those times I've always tried to remember the moments when I was a kid, the times when I was happy, free-spirited, and living life not to impress.

This is a newborn me

Me, aunt, cousin, in my most fashionable attire to date haha

Me, my late grandfather (creyz*), me cousin, and me fabulous grandma. Wondered why I have the most extravagant outfit in family photos lol.

Last but not least, me in a family picture, in my mum's lap wearing a dandy hawaiian shirt and a black pant. I got my style since the 90s. That's where I get my legitimate fashion narcissism and compulsive consiousness right now I guess.

Cherish the moments with your loved ones before they got away. Fill your days with laughter and never forget that without them, you're nothing.

All the pictures above are scanned pictures. Credit goes to me.
